Fundraise Announcement
We are happy to announce that we have raised $200,000 in research funding for our project on upscaling digital camera captures from 12-bit per channel resolution to 16-bit per channel. The 'synthetic data’ is context sensitive and is not a linear interpolation of adjacent pixel attributes.
A significant portion of the the funding will be invested in state-of-the-art hardware upgrades. We plan to expand our clean room facilities, incorporate a tremor-free floating table for experimental setups, acquire advanced optical wares and monochromatic light sources, color calibration equipment, upgraded computer hardware, digital cameras, color-accurate displays.
A segment of the fund is allocated for analog testing—an essential step to validate our synthetic data methods against real-world benchmarks. This ensures our innovations translate into meaningful improvements in practical applications.
The grant will allow us to hire research scientists and laboratory assistants.
These investments position our team to achieve breakthroughs in digital imaging, raising industry standards for both scientific and creative applications.
