Irix HDR on-device AI Beta Test completed

We are happy to announce that we have achieved 140K MAU for Irix HDR using our in-house on-device AI solution.

Irix HDR incorporates a highly efficient AI model with FWQ quant making it suitable for use on mbile phones, tablets and laptops. The FWQ quantization methodology returns significant improvement in perplexity over the same model without FWQ.

On-device AI eliminates the need for external / server based computations. This reduces latency and most importantly the cost of AI to the end user. It is also useful when AI needs to be used in locations without access to internet or if the device is in radio silence environment.

Succesful completion of beta test opens up on-device AI to other applications.

Upcoming upgrades will offer context saving even if the app is quit and logged-in later.
